Spring surcharge approved
By a 6-3 vote, the state Board of Regents approved a $100 surcharge for regent university students spring semester. At Iowa State, that's about $2.4 million to help meet the $24.5 million mid-year funding reversion.

ABC replica relocates
The Computer History Museum of Mountain View, Calif., will be the new home for Iowa State's full-scale, working replica of the Atanasoff-Berry Computer (ABC) for at least 10 years.
Better late than never
