Ganz

Tickling the ivories

Pianist Brian Ganz will perform in the Music Building's Tye Hall on June 7 (7:45 p.m.). The award-winning musician's program includes several works by Chopin, who is the subject of Ganz's current recording project. In addition to performing, Ganz also is a visiting instructor at Johns Hopkins University's Peabody Conservatory and St. Mary's College, Maryland. The concert, scheduled as part of the Iowa Music Teachers Association state conference, is open to the public. Tickets, $15 for adults and free for students, will be available at the door.
