Beardshear, reimagined
Iowa State alumnus Manmeet Gill used five exposures and Photoshop to bring out a multitude of colors, shadows and highlights in this HDR (high dynamic range) image of Beardshear. "It's purely artistic, based on one's taste," Gill said, "and that's why some like it and some think it's over the top." Submitted photo.
