FY11 budget development: Cross-unit planning teams
The executive vice president and provost appointed the following teams to study specific topics as part of the process of developing the university's FY11 budget (and beyond). Each team includes a "convener," who will schedule meetings, organize the team's work and finalize its report. Each team also includes a member identified as a "neutral observer" with expertise in process and procedure, and a liaison in the office of the executive vice president and provost.
1. Assignment: Review international activities in central administrative units (ex., Study Abroad, International Students and Scholars, Admissions, Council on International Programs), colleges and ISU Extension. Gain an understanding of individual units' involvement and support.

2. Assignment: Review programming efforts and administrative support for diversity, multicultural and women's issues in central administrative units (ex., Program for Women in Science and Engineering, women's center, Multicultural Office) and colleges. Gain an understanding of individual units' involvement and support.

4. Assignment: Review activities and administrative support for undergraduate student recruiting in the central admissions office and colleges. Gain an understanding of individual units' involvement and support.

5. Assignment: Review data on all graduate programs institution-wide. Analyze enrollments and degrees awarded over time. Provide insights on programs that are strategically important and those that could be combined or eliminated.
