INSIDE IOWA STATE March 15, 2002 Spring break staffingGuidelines for lighter office staffing over spring break, March 16-24, came on the heels of the announcement of a second mid-year state deappropriation (see budget story).In a recent memo, vice president for business and finance Warren Madden encouraged units to consider minimum to no staffing over spring break and allow employees voluntary leave options when possible in an attempt to save energy costs.
