ISU climbs to 56th internationally in scholarly web presence

A research group that ranks universities based on the scientific and academic materials provided on their web sites puts Iowa State at No. 56 internationally, 10 spots higher than six months ago. Among United States and Canadian universities, Iowa State ranks No. 47.

The group ranks universities by their web presence and, particularly, the access they provide to scholarly materials. The latest January ranking lists the top 8,000 universities in the world.

The rankings are based on the number of:

  • Papers and citations found on Google Scholar
