Death

John Sluis
John Sluis, 53, former assistant director for facilities services with facilities planning and management, died Feb. 21 of a heart attack. Sluis worked for the university from 1983 to 1998. He was executive director of facilities for the K-12 school system in Wheaton, Ill., at the time of his death.
