CIO position won't be filled for now
The search for a chief information officer (CIO) for Iowa State has been
closed and the position will not be filled at this time, according to
Benjamin Allen, vice president for academic affairs and provost.
Five candidates visited Iowa State in October and December. Allen said the
position is not being filled because a consensus candidate did not emerge.
Another search is possible, Allen said, but is unlikely in the immediate
future.
The CIO would oversee various information technology services at Iowa
State.
