Student callers bring in record gifts

Tamicka Brodie is among 70 students who work part time at the ISU Foundation PhoneCenter on the ground floor of the Durham Center. The students seek donations from alumni, and they're good at what they do. Thus far this academic year, they've talked to 62,400 alumni and raised a record $1.69 million. That's a 45 percent increase from the students' fund-raising total at this time last year. Photo by Bob Elbert.
