Benefits change period for merit staff closes Nov. 17

The merit employee open change period for 2004 benefits began Friday, Oct. 17, and closes Monday, Nov. 17. This is the opportunity to make changes to medical insurance and flexible spending accounts (health care and dependent care).

Open change guidebooks have been mailed to the office addresses of all benefits-eligible merit employees. The benefits office also is offering the following sessions:

1-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, or noon to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7: general information session for active merit employees, 3150 Beardshear.
5-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3: general information session for merit retirees, 230 Memorial Union.
12:30-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10: vendor fair for all employees, Great Hall, Memorial Union.

The open change period for ISU Plan-eligible employees (faculty, professional and scientific, and supervisory merit) will begin Nov. 3.
