IPRT merges units into one

The Institute for Physical Research and Technology (IPRT) has reorganized its industrial outreach programs into one unit -- IPRT Company Assistance. Units that have merged to form IPRT Company Assistance are the Center for Advanced Technology Development, Iowa Demonstration Laboratory for Nondestructive Evaluation, Iowa Companies Assistance Program and Iowa Industrial Incentive Program.

One unit is intended to make it easier for business people, entrepreneurs and Iowa State faculty and staff to access the variety of outreach services available through IPRT. Staff who were part of the original four units will continue to provide the same technical assistance and contract services to businesses as they have in the past.
