Learn about retirement mutual fund options at campus forums
Representatives from TIAA-CREF will be on campus in July for group
presentations and individual meetings about the company's new retirement
investment accounts. Since June 1, TIAA-CREF has offered nine mutual fund
accounts, in addition to its 10 annuity products.
The nine mutual funds are intended to give participants more options for
diversifying -- or focusing -- their investment strategies. The mutual funds
focus on specific segments of the market, for example, real estate products,
international companies, companies that pass specific social screens, and
companies that show better than average potential for growth.
General presentations on the new products and how to sign up for them are
scheduled for 9 a.m. and noon as follows:
9 a.m. meetings
- July 8, 2050 Agronomy
- July 8, 301 Spedding
- July 15, 1132 Eaton (residence hall)
- July 22, 1155 ASB
Noon meetings
- July 7, 142 General Services Building
- July 7, 301 Spedding
- July 14, 1132 Eaton
- July 21, 1155 ASB
