Fighting fire

Troy Carey, program coordinator with environmental health and safety, is responsible for making sure the university's fire extinguishers are in working condition. He and his student crew annually check each of the 5,000 extinguishers on campus to see that they are filled and in working order and that the safety pins are in place. Photo by Bob Elbert.
