ISU Theatre winds up its season with A Piece of My Heart, a true
drama about six women who went to Vietnam -- four nurses, a WAC officer and
a country-western singer booked to entertain the troops. The play portrays
each of the women before, during and after her tour in the war-torn jungle
and ends as each leaves a personal token at The Wall in Washington, D.C. The
play will be presented at 7:30 p.m. May 2-4 and 2 p.m. May 5 at Fisher
Theater. Tickets are $1 and available at the Iowa State Center ticket office
and at the door. Photo by Bob Elbert. |
