INSIDE IOWA STATE
May 3, 2002
Senate's last meeting is May 7
by Linda Charles
The Faculty Senate will discuss a resolution endorsing recent changes made
by the ISU Foundation during its May meeting.
The resolution, introduced at the April meeting by Tom Emmerson, Greenlee
School of Journalism, endorses the foundation's efforts to make its records
more open to the public. However, the resolution recommends that the state
auditor conduct a periodic audit of the foundation's records.
The senate also will hear from Owen Newlin, president of the Board of
Regents, State of Iowa. The regents president traditionally is invited to
address the senate each year.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in 260 Scheman.
