9:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Cherry pie sales, $1, 16 MacKay, 4-8552.
10 a.m.-2 a.m., Taste of Veishea, food vendors, games, music, Welch Avenue.
11 a.m.-2 p.m., Barbecue (lunch free with Veishea button), central campus.
Noon-1 p.m., Opening ceremonies, speaker, Randall Wreghitt, Broadway producer and 1978 ISU alumnus, south of campanile.
3 p.m.-1:30 a.m., Carnival, games and rides, ISU Center Lot D4.
7:30 p.m., Performance, Stars Over Veishea, Grease, *$10-$15, Stephens.
8:30-11:45 p.m., Performance, Dew the Rec, Jay Mohr, comedian, *$6-$15, Leid Center.

Saturday, April 20

7-11 a.m., Pancake breakfast, $5-$6, south of campanile.
9 a.m.-5 p.m., Open houses, throughout campus.
9 a.m.-5 p.m., Cy's Big Top, Cultural festival and Village Square Stage, music, dance, skits and demonstrations, central campus.

10 a.m.-2 p.m., International food fair, 25 cents, Great Hall, Memorial Union.

10:40 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Veishea parade, campus route from the Armory to the Memorial Union passing Lagomarcino, Bessey, LeBaron and Beardshear halls (televised on KCCI-TV).
1-2 p.m., Canoe races, registration, Lake LaVerne.
2 p.m., Benefit dog show, $1 (proceeds go to Ames Animal Shelter),Vet Med lawn.
6:30-8 p.m., Road race, 5K, registration fee, central campus.

Sunday, April 21

8 a.m.-3 p.m., Tournament, Veishea Golf Classic, 4-person best ball, $32 per person, Veenker.
