As the story unfolds: "There are two miserable times in my creative life when I'm not writing, and when I am. It seems I just have this huge imagination that requires an outlet."

The plot thickens: "I've been pretty happily married for 20 years. But it seems the desire to find the other half of our selves continues to be a strong factor in the lives of many human beings. I want to show that it continues to be possible to find happiness in a relationship."

Her happy ending: "Obviously to become published. However, I would be satisfied to create one work that, even if it never gets published, illuminates the human heart in an honest, true way."
