Hunger Banquet

The haves and have-nots

Members of the ISU community participated in an annual "Hunger Banquet" Nov. 13 in the Memorial Union South Ballroom. A few (foreground) feast on a multi-course meal with linens and tableware, while many eat rice and water on the floor. A third group eats a modest meal; the intent is to understand the imbalance of food production and distribution world-wide. Photo by Bob Elbert.
