Paul Ness getting his hair shaved About 4,500 people gathered on central campus Sept. 14 for a ceremony to observe the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance in the wake of terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. At right, Paul Ness, Ames Lab research technician, has his head shaved to raise funds for the victims of the attack. Ness raised $371 for the American Red Cross Iowa Cares program.
