Hypnotist kicks off Family Weekend

Iowa State families from across the country will be "Blazing a Trail of
Cyclone Traditions" Sept. 28-30 during Family Weekend festivities, sponsored
by the ISU Alumni Association and the Iowa State Parents Association.
Hypnotist Steve Meade, a 1990 ISU graduate, will kick off the weekend's
entertainment with a performance at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, in the Memorial
Union Great Hall ($5).
The ISU hockey team will play Life University, Marietta, Ga., at 7:30 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, Sept. 28 and 29, in the City of Ames/ISU Ice Arena
($8).
The annual Family Weekend tailgate will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept.
29, in the Iowa State Center parking lot ($8.25). The Cyclone football team
will meet Baylor at Jack Trice Stadium at 1 p.m. A Casino/Family Fun Night
will follow from 8 to 11:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Great Hall ($5).
On Sunday, the soccer team will meet Baylor at 1 p.m. on the ISU soccer
fields, and the volleyball team will take on Texas A&M at 2 p.m. in Hilton
Coliseum. A "Collage of Choirs" will perform at Stephens Auditorium at 3
p.m.
