Hall of Famers inducted Sept. 7

The 2001 ISU Athletic Hall of Fame class will be inducted at a ceremony at the Gateway Center hotel on Friday, Sept. 7. The eight former student-athletes and coaches also will be honored at halftime of the Iowa State-University of Northern Iowa football game on Sept. 8.

A committee of sportswriters, ISU letter winners, coaches, professors and sports information directors selected the class from a list of more than 150 nominees submitted by members of the ISU Letterwinners Club.
