New windows: energy efficient and easy on the eye

A phased project to replace single-pane windows in Physics and Science I halls began in the summer of 2008 and will wrap up this fall. This summer's phase will replace 44 windows in Science I and 31 windows in Physics.

The university community can tap into a massive online video tutorial service at no charge to learn to use all kinds of software programs. More than 800 tutorials are available, such as MS Word, Excel, Google applications, Dreamweaver and JavaScript.

Search for associate provost under way

The search for an associate provost for academic personnel is on a fast track. Applications are encouraged by June 14. The new associate provost will succeed Susan Carlson, who accepted a position at the University of California.
