WelcomeElaine Newell became Iowa State's ombuds officer Sept. 12. Newell, an attorney, comes to Iowa State from the Legal Aid Society of Story County. The ombuds office, in 69 Physics Hall, is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. reserved for walk-in visits.
