President Gregory Geoffroy took groundbreaking to a new level, operating a backhoe during the Sept. 8 ceremony celebrating commencement of work on the Biorenewables Research Laboratory. It's the first phase of the biorenewables complex, located between Howe Hall and the College of Design.
