Alumni Days time capsule

50-year sneak peek

The contents of a time capsule, buried beneath a granite bench outside Beardshear Hall by the class of 1958, were displayed in the library's special collections department during 2008 Alumni Days May 15-17. In celebration of its 50-year reunion, the class agreed to unearth the capsule 50 years earlier than intended. Pictured: Class members enjoy the memorabilia -- and the memories. Photo by Bob Elbert.
