April 18, 2008 ReceptionsKay MuellerA retirement reception for Kay Mueller, lecturer and adviser in the communication studies program of the English department, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in the Memorial Union Cardinal Room. Mueller will retire at the end of the semester after 14 years of teaching at Iowa State. Brenda DalyA retirement reception for Brenda Daly, University Professor of English and director of the Center for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities, will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. A program will begin at 4 p.m. Jan CummingsA retirement reception for Jan Cummings, receptionist at Printing and Copy Services, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the Printing and Publications Building. Cummings has worked at Iowa State for 11 years. |
