Just a few weeks shy of its 40th anniversary in its Hub location, the copy center moved to Room 84 in the lower level of Parks Library. But don't get nostalgic, because the new space gives the copy center 800 square feet and the opportunity to offer customers - now including library users - more services.

In addition to the document services offered at its previous location, the copy center offers wide-format (up to 36 inches) color print capabilities, computer workstations, a work table with supplies and a photo kiosk for do-it-yourself prints.

"We are very excited to be partnering with the library to deliver media services to central campus," said Fay Martin, copy center coordinator. "We are looking forward to the opportunities this new location provides."

The library copy center is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beginning March 19, weekday hours will be extended to 10 p.m., except on Friday, and weekend hours will be added (1-5 p.m. Saturday, 2-10 p.m. Sunday). Summer hours have yet to be determined.

The copy center's former space will be used in ISU Dining's remodel of the Hub. Plans call for a Starbucks and an expanded Hub Cafe including an indoor grill. The Hub is scheduled to close for the remodeling project in March and reopen in August, prior to the start of the fall semester.

Summary

After nearly 40 years of operating in Hub, the copy center moved to its bigger space in Parks Library. The new location will offer more services and extended hours.
