Dec. 8, 2006 Experience a Victorian holidayThe 31st annual Victorian Holidays exhibition at the Farm House Museum continues through Dec. 15, with special activities Sunday, Dec. 10. University Museums embellishes the university's first building (completed in 1864) with authentic Victorian decorations including a holiday tree, garland and other period decorations. From 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 10, visitors can participate in holiday activities and sample Victorian treats. Children of all ages can make homemade crafts and visit with Santa Claus (a photo with Santa costs $1). There also will be horse-drawn wagon rides from the Farm House Museum ($2 per person). All other activities are free. Regular Farm House Museum hours are noon to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. The museum will be closed Dec. 16-Jan. 14, 2007. |
