Pottery for povertyThe first annual "Empty Bowl Project" at the MU last week netted about $150 for the international Oxfam organization and several dozen cans of food for the Mid-Iowa Community Action food pantry. Students and other local artists donated 130 pottery bowls, all of which were sold. Following a soup and breadsticks meal in the Cardinal Room, patrons got to keep their bowls.
