Oct. 6, 2006 University award nominations availableNominations for the 2007 university awards are available. Recipients will be honored next fall at the annual convocation. Nominations are due to the provost's office Feb. 26, but earlier deadlines are determined by units involved in the process. Descriptions and nomination guidelines for the 20 faculty awards are available online at http://www.provost.iastate.edu/faculty/awards/awards.html. Information on the 12 professional and scientific awards is online at http://www.provost.iastate.edu/staff/awards/. Early achievement awards in academic advising have been added to both faculty and staff award categories. Questions regarding specific awards can be directed to the following individuals: Eric Hoiberg (faculty and departmental leadership); David Holger (teaching, international and advising); Rhonda Christensen (extension/professional practice); Charlotte Bronson (research); Felicity Douglas (graduate faculty); Nancy Knight or Penni McKinley (P&S); and John Anderson (regents awards). |
