  • 10 a.m.-noon, Community float tours.
  • 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Campus barbeque, free with Veishea button, central campus.
  • 12:15-1:30 p.m., Opening ceremonies, alumni speakers Gary Stahl and Sean McLaughlin, central campus.
  • 3-6 p.m., Veishea history expo, Beardshear Hall.
  • 5 p.m.-3 a.m., Taste of Veishea, food vendors, games, Union Drive.
  • 5 p.m.-2:30 a.m., Battle of the Bands and Local H, free, central campus.
  • 7:30-10 p.m., Performance, Stars Over Veishea, My Fair Lady, *$13-18, Stephens.
  • 9-11:30 p.m., Performance, Veishea comedy show, Louis Katz, Jasper Redd and Dave Attell, $10-16, Hilton Coliseum.
  • Midnight-4:30 a.m., Pancake feed, $1, central campus.

Saturday, April 22

  • 7:30-noon, Silent auction, benefits Veishea scholarship fund, central campus.

  • 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Cultural festival, displays and performances, Campanile Room and Great Hall.
  • 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Cy's Big Top, kids carnival, games and entertainment, central campus
  • 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Open houses, clubs, organizations and community exhibits, throughout campus.
  • 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Car show, east parking ramp.
  • 9:30 a.m., SCUM (Society of Chemistry Undergraduate Majors) presents a fun chemistry show "Elemental Conflict," 1002 Gilman Hall
  • 10 a.m., Cherry pie sales, $1, until gone, MacKay Hall.
  • 10:40 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Veishea parade, campus route north to south via Pammel Drive, Stange Road, Osborn Drive, Morrill Road and Union Drive.
  • 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m., International food fair, $2-$7, Great Hall.
  • Noon-3 p.m., Veishea history expo, Beardshear Hall.
