Feb. 10, 2006 Brunnier to host Masquerade BallThe Brunnier Art Museum will host its inaugural "Brunnier Bash" on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the museum in the Scheman Building. The event is a formal dress masquerade ball, and guests are encouraged to bring a mask or create an original mask at the door. Judging of original mask designs will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with the holder of the best mask winning an Apple iPod. Live music by Kentucky Fried Mullet and dance entertainment starts at 8 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. The event is open to the public. Advanced tickets are $4 ($6 for a couple) and may be purchased through Feb. 24 at the Brunnier or University Museums office, both on second floor Scheman; and at the Farm House Museum on central campus. Tickets are $5 at the door the evening of the event. Proceeds will help fund future exhibitions and education programming at the Brunnier. |
