And most of this aquaculture production does not come from commercial farms but from small-scale operations." 2005 World Food Prize winner Modadugu Gupta, in a recent talk on campus. Gupta was honored for promoting aquaculture -- growing fish in farm ponds, rice farms, and other water bodies -- in Southeast Asia, India and Bangladesh. |
