AnswerUniversity photographer Bob Elbert caught a quiet moment at the Iowa State arboretum (adjacent to the southwest athletic complex). The sundial was installed in 1949, a memorial to Thomas Maney, a horticulturist at Iowa State from 1912 until his death in 1945. |
