Teaching tip

Ask for "two-minute feedback" at the end of a class period, particularly if the class has been mostly lecture. Have students quickly jot down:

  • What was the most important point of information you learned during this session?
  • What part of the material covered in this session did you find most difficult?
  • What part in this session would you like reviewed next time?

This allows you to check on student comprehension and underscore points that students find most difficult.
