January 28, 2005 Residence director search opensby Annette Hacker The department of residence is seeking a new director. Todd Holcomb, associate vice president for student affairs, is serving as interim director this fiscal year. Randy Alexander, who had served as director of residence since 1996, resigned last June. A 12-member search committee, led by Holcomb, hopes to have a new director on the job by July 1. Applications will be accepted through Feb. 7. "We want to make sure that we attract an individual who is student-centered, and who will assure that our residence hall system continues to be a great place for students to live," Holcomb said. The new residence director no longer will oversee ISU Dining, Holcomb added. That unit, led by Jon Lewis, will report directly to the associate vice president (Holcomb), as it has since June. |
