October 19, 2004 Next diversity forum is Nov. 2Issues for lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender staff, faculty and students at ISU will be the focus of the first President's Forum on Diversity of this academic year. It will be held from noon to approximately 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, in the Memorial Union Sun Room. The format will be similar to forums of recent years. Following opening remarks from president Gregory Geoffroy, a panel of LGBT students and faculty will talk about their campus experiences and highlight some of the issues faced by members of their population. In small groups led by facilitators, forum participants will respond to several discussion questions. A free lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Memorial Union Great Hall. Those who plan to eat are asked to preregister (students by calling 4-4420, faculty and staff online at AccessPlus. Click on "prof dvlp rgstr" and "browse titles.")
