AnswerThe photo shows the east side of Alumni Hall. The building was begun in 1904, but not completed until 1907. Alumni pledges for the building were slow to come in, leaving an empty shell with roof for two winters. LaVerne Noyes (for whom Lake LaVerne is named) agreed to fund the remainder of the construction so the building could be completed. |
