Richard Carter

A retirement reception for Richard Carter, director of the Brenton Center for Agricultural Instruction and Technology Transfer, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, June 11, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. A program will begin at 3 p.m. Carter has been on the faculty for 33 years.

Todd Herriott

A reception for Todd Herriott, disability resources, will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, in the Memorial Union Cardinal Room. A program will bein at 1:30 p.m.

Marshall Jurgens

A retirement reception for Marshall Jurgens, professor of animal science, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, in the Kildee Hall atrium. A short program will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Dennis Peterson

A retirement reception for Dennis Peterson, International Education Services director, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, June 18, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. A short program will begin at 2:30 p.m. Peterson has been with Iowa State 34 years.

Elizabeth Beck

A retirement reception for Elizabeth Beck, director of the University Honors Program, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, June 25, in the Jischke Honors Building. Beck has worked at Iowa State for 27 years.

Dennis Sailsbury

A retirement reception for Dennis Sailsbury, Ames Laboratory's photographer for more than 40 years, will be held Friday, June 25, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in 205 TASF (Technical and Administrative Services Building).

Jim Baker, Dwaine Bundy, Jeff Lorimor, Stu Melvin and Graeme Quick

A farewell open house for Jim Baker, university professor; Dwaine Bundy, professor; Jeff Lorimor, associate professor; Stu Melvin, professor; and Graeme Quick, adjunct professor, in the department of agricultural and biosystems engineering (ABE), will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25, in the Reiman Gardens conservatory complex. A BBQ buffet will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m. RSVP acceptances only to 4-1434 or sziegenb@iastate. edu. In lieu of gifts, the honorees request donations to the department for undergraduate ABE scholarships. Cards, letters and monetary gifts can be sent or delivered to the ABE office, 102 Davidson. Collectively, the faculty members have more than 110 years of service to Iowa State.

A retirement coffee for Ellen Holm and Carolyn Russell, academic advisers for undergraduates in the College of Business, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, in 1200 Gerdin.

A farewell reception for Heather Johnson Huntley, program coordinator in the College of Business career services, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, in 1320 Gerdin.

Janice Miover

A retirement reception for Janice Miover, an account clerk in genetics, development and cell biology, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, in the atrium of the Molecular Biology Building. Miover has been with Iowa State since 1974.

Kathie Hawbaker

A retirement reception for Kathie Hawbaker, secretary to the director at Ames Laboratory, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, in 315 TASF (conference room in the Ames Lab director's office). A short program will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Carolyn Ringgenberg

A farewell retirement tailgate for Carolyn Ringgenberg, ISU Alumni Association's assistant for administration, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 1, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. Ringgenberg has been with the university for 19 years. A short program will begin at 3 p.m.

John Kleitsch

A retirement reception for John Kleitsch, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, will be held from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, in the Hughes auditorium, Reiman Gardens. A short program will begin around 1:30 p.m. Kleitsch has been with the department for 21 years after working for 25 years in industry.
