A new donor
The College of Veterinary Medicine has a new steer named Pokey, who had a
fistula inserted in his upper left side to allow access to his rumen so he
can serve as a donor to bovines suffering from digestive problems. The
campus community is invited to visit Pokey in stall G-89 of the Large Animal
Barn to help him become comfortable with people. Photo by Bob Elbert.
