ISU Theatre play features life off stage
ISU Theatre's first production of spring semester opens next week in
Fisher Theater. There will be six performances of Noises Off,a play
about actors, actresses and what's going on among them off stage.
Evening performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22; Friday,
Feb. 16 and 23; and Saturday, Feb. 17 and 24. A single matinee performance
will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18. Tickets are $10 ($9 for seniors and
$4.50 for students), and available at all TicketMaster locations, including
the C.Y. Stephens box office.
The plot in Noises Off follows a "B" touring group from
the end of rehearsals through opening night and the tour itself. Romance and
arguments seem inevitable in a group spending this much time together, and
their rehearsed performance pales in comparison to what's going on
backstage.
