Q: What's the structure going up in the southeast corner of Iowa State's cross-country course, across the street from the Towers residence halls?
A: It is the Hendricks Shelter and will be used by the Cyclone men's and women's cross-country teams during meets and practices. It's named for alumnus and primary contributor to the project, Randy Hendricks. The open-air shelter also will see use when the Cyclones host the 2000 NCAA cross- country championship meet Nov. 20.
