Eclectic mix at M-shop

The Maintenance Shop in the
Memorial Union will host an electic lineup of performers this
fall.
"We're really proud of the variety this year," said Eric Yarwood, M-Shop coordinator. "We've got many different music types, and a good variety of local, regional and national acts. We especially tried to give some local bands an opportunity to play at the shop."
August will feature a mix of rock and folk music, starting at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, when the local band, Mr. Plow, will bring its "funkblasto" sounds to the stage. Dual vocals lead this twin guitar, bass heavy, hip-hop sextet. Tickets are $5.
Tickets for August and September shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21. Tickets for October shows go on sale Monday, Sept. 11. Tickets for November and December shows go on sale Monday, Oct. 9. Tickets are available at the Memorial Union and through TicketMaster.
