New jobs
- Mary E. Huba, professor of educational leadership
and policy studies, has been named assistant vice provost
for undergraduate programs.
- GianCarlo Moschini, economics professor, has been
named the Pioneer Hi-Bred International Chair in Science and
Technology Policy.
- Named associate deans in the College of Education are
Jackie Blount, associate professor of curriculum and
instruction, and Roger Smith, professor of industrial
education and technology. Shirley Wood, who served as
associate dean of the college since 1998, retired on June
30.
- Charles Kostelnick has been named chair of the
English department.
- Alan Myers has been named chair of the biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology department, effective Sept. 1.
