Ross named Ag dean for 2 years
Richard Ross will serve as dean of the College of Agriculture for a two-year period, which began July 1. The appointment is subject to review by the Board of Regents, State of Iowa.
Ross was appointed interim dean of the College of Agriculture in February. Since then, Ross has been dividing his time between his regular responsibilities as dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and dean of the College of Agriculture.
Ross will serve as dean of agriculture until a permanent dean is hired to replace David Topel, who resigned from the position earlier this year.
An interim dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine will be announced soon.
