Receptions

Floyd Brown
A retirement reception for Floyd Brown, a clerk with facilities planning and management-utility services, will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 21, in the FP&M main conference room, General Services Building. Brown, one of the oldest full-time employees at Iowa State, has been with the university for 48 years.


Pamela Thomas
A farewell reception for Pamela Thomas will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Margaret Sloss Women's Center. Thomas, who has been director of the center since 1998, will become assistant dean and director of inter- cultural affairs at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva, N.Y. A gift in Thomas' name will be purchased for the center's library and donations will be accepted the day of the reception. In addition, a memory book will be provided.


Rosella Hawk
A retirement reception for Resella Hawk, University Book Store clerk, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, July 28, in the Memorial Union Regency Room. Hawk has been with the university since April 1993.


Ron Murken
A retirement reception for Ron Murken, printing services mail clerk, will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, in the Printing and Publications Building production area. Murken has been with the university for 22 years.


Clayton Rullestad
A retirement reception for Clayton Rullestad, plant services, will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, in the grounds shop break room, General Services Building. Rullestad has been with ISU for 39 years.


Fred Kirschenmann
A reception for Fred Kirschenmann, new director of the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room.
