Washington Week in Review

In conjunction with the Iowa caucuses, PBS's Washington Week In Reviewwill tape its Friday, Jan. 21, program at Iowa State.

The event, sponsored by the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication, is free and open to the public.

The program is moderated by Gwen Ifill, former political reporter for The New York Timesand NBC News, and features a group of journalists participating in a round-table discussion of major news events.

The panelists at ISU will be David Broder, national political reporter for the Washington Post and syndicated columnist; Gloria Borger, contributing editor and political columnist for U.S. News and World Reportand CBS news analyst; and Elizabeth Arnold, correspondent for National Public Radio's (NPR) Washington bureau.

The taping will begin at 2 p.m. in Stephens Auditorium. Those planning to attend should be at Stephens by 1:30 p.m. Following the taping of the 30-minute program, panelists will answers questions from the audience. The question-and-answer period will be streamed live over the program's Web site at www.pbs.org/weta/wwir.

The program is broadcast at 7 p.m. on Fridays on Iowa Public Television.
