Change your clocks
Halloween celebrators came close this year to beating the calendar and winning the chance to trick or treat at dusk, rather than in the dark. Daylight-saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, so remember to turn your clocks back one hour before you head to bed on Saturday, Oct. 30.
Remember also: it's temporary. DST returns Sunday, April 2.
