ECE director finalists visit campus
The search for a new director of Extended and Continued Education has been narrowed to two candidates, Mary Bonhomme, Purdue University; and Ann Hill Duin, University of Minnesota.
Duin, who visited campus Oct. 20-21, is vice provost for instructional technology and university partnerships at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. She has led efforts to enhance learning through technology and to build the capacity to support emerging technologies. She also co-chaired Minnesota Virtual University, an initiative among colleges, universities and businesses in Minnesota.
Bonhomme, who will visit campus Oct. 28-29, is interim director and associate director of continuing engineering education at Purdue University, Lafayette, Ind. She is responsible for noncredit programs, developing marketing and securing new programs.
The campus community can meet Bonhomme during an open forum from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, in 160 Scheman. The forum also will be telecast via the ICN in the Brenton Center, Curtiss Hall.
