Clete Mercier and Joyce Mercier
A retirement reception for Clete Mercier, associate professor of civil engineering, and Joyce Mercier, professor of human development and family studies, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 30, in the Stage Door area of Scheman, first floor.
Floyd Manwiller
A retirement reception for Floyd Manwiller, professor of forestry, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, May 3, in 253 Bessey.
David Carlson
Steve Wells
A retirement reception for David Carlson and Steve Wells, electrical and computer engineering, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, in 2222 Coover. Carlson has been a faculty member since 1964. Wells has worked for ISU since 1966.
Steve Bishop
George Brown
A retirement reception for Steve Bishop and George Brown, professors of zoology and genetics, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 6, in the Molecular Biology atrium. Bishop has been with the university since 1977. Brown is completing his 32nd year at Iowa State.
Vivian Whitmore
A retirement reception for Vivian Whitmore, secretary for the cross-disciplinary studies program in the LAS college, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, May 24, in 302 Catt. A short program will begin at 3 p.m. Whitmore has worked at Iowa State for 17 years.
Karen Larson
A retirement reception for Karen Larson, secretary in College of Liberal Arts and Sciences administration, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, May 28, in 302 Catt. A short program will begin at 3 p.m. Larson has been employed at ISU for nearly 25 years.
